Installation includes full commissioning — startup, refrigerant charge verification, airflow balancing, and a working thermostat — not just setting the unit down and leaving. A system that’s installed but never properly commissioned is one of the most common reasons a "new" AC still doesn’t perform.

What’s the difference between single-stage, two-stage, and variable-speed AC?
Single-stage runs at one speed — on or off. Two-stage runs a lower speed most of the time and steps up on hot days, for better humidity control and quieter operation. Variable-speed adjusts continuously for the most even temperatures and the lowest energy use. All three are good systems; the right one depends on your house and budget, not the brand name on it.
